After three years as a freelancer designer and then two years as an UX / UI Designer in the online gaming industry, I've decided to use my knowledge, skills, experience and energy elsewhere.

ABOUT ME
I see myself as a passionate, playful and versatile person with a positive outlook. I am 31 years and married to Sanne. Together we have two beautiful children, Sophia, who is eleven, and Stoffer who is seven years old, and at third coming up this summer! We live in a lovely house in Harlev with plenty of space to build playhouses in the trees and grow vegetables in the garden. My biggest passion is design, both graphic, product design, architecture and art. When i'm not designing, i work with wood and love music, both at festivals and in rehearsal studio. I am forever curious, love my children and are daily inspired by their joy.
With my passion for design in general, I finished my bachelor's degree in Digital Design at Aarhus University where I have built up a digital mindset and an interest for the latest trends in digital communication, design and online behavior. Which means that I not only come with the newest knowledge and experience in digital and UX design, I also come with a broader understanding of user-centered and interaction design as a practice. I have an ability to grow with a job, handle responsibility and build positive relationships with work colleagues and consumers at all levels.

WHAT I DO
I am currently employed and has for the last two years seen my ideas and creations come to life in the online gaming industry as a full time UX / UI designer at Bet25 A/S in Silkeborg, whose main focus is to provide entertaining sports betting, online casino games and horse racing. This has truly been an learning experience since I didn't know anything about sports, casino or horses when I started! But I know how to make things look good and with great usability. My main focus is on the users overall experience of the product. I truly believe that the best and most effective solutions are made in a tight cooperation the knowledge and the experience of the user, even when the user don't necessarily have the vocabulary to tell me their needs. As the one responsible for the design and product of the Casino brands: Rød25 and CasinoGo (iOS + Android app and Website), I feel certain that my strong vision to details coupled with my ability to translate wishes and visions into solid and tangible concepts and to think scalable and future-oriented will be of immediate value.

I have a strong visual understanding in relation to both typography, styling and branding through visual identity. A clear understanding of digital interfaces such as websites and apps, their strengths, limitations and general technical possibilities.

I’m a service-minded person with a drive to push the project forward and helps where more hands are needed in an attempt to create added value in your company and the best experience for the end-user. In my new job, I see myself as part of a larger team where I contribute that the final product is ambitious and pointing forward.
